Frequently asked questions about your visit:

How long can I spend at the park?
We recommend you arrive as closest to opening as possible.  Around 10.30 allows you to follow the whole daily timetable.

Do we take credit cards?
We accept credit cards on entrance but cash only in our cafe due to being unable to operate a card machine in low signal rural area.

Can I bring my dog?
We welcome well behaved dogs as long as they are on a lead. Please note there are certain areas of the park were dogs are not permitted.

Do I need to bring wellies?
Welly boots are not essential as the majority of the site is concrete/paths however best to bring them in wet weather just encase!

Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes, in our quirky Shepherds hut!

Do you cater for large specialist groups and organisations?
Yes and we also provide free car and coach parking!

Is it suitable for wheelchairs?
Yes completely, the only gravel area is the car park, however there are ample disabled parking bays next to the entrance.

What if the weather is not so good?
We cater for all eventualities! There are many undercover areas so you can still enjoy your visit on a wet day!

What ages is it suitable for?
We pride ourselves on being able to keep everyone amused from toddlers to great grandparents!

Can we feed the animals?
Yes you can purchase food from the shop to feed: Heavy Horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, goats chickens and ducks!

Can you get involved in all the activities whatever your ability?
Yes, we make sure everyone gets a chance and our team has much patience with any special needs persons.
